Current Ongoing Ministries for Men:

 

Men’s Bible Study

We meet each Friday morning at 6:00am at Cassidy’s Restaurant in Elk Grove. We study the word, pray, fellowship and encourage each other in Godliness.

 

Biblical Accountability Ministry (BAM)

Thursdays at 7:00pm, we meet at the church to pray, fellowship and keep each other accountable to what the Bible teaches.

 

Men’s Fellowship

Tuesdays at 7:00pm, we meet to fellowship and pray together.

 

Men’s Breakfast

Each month, we meet on a Saturday morning for a big breakfast and some time to worship and be encouraged in the Word. We also spend some time praying together.

 

Men’s Softball

We have three men’s softball teams, in the Elk Grove City D-League, playing on Monday and Friday nights at Laguna Creek Park. Games are weekly and seasons last a couple months each—there are three consecutive seasons each year. We have a great variety of talent and age on each team but our heart to fellowship, have a positive attitude a good time is consistent. After each game, we share what we are going through and lift each other up in prayer.

 

Men’s Basketball

Each Monday nights, we rent out the gymnasium at Harriet Eddy Middle School for a few hours to play some ball together. We don’t play in a league; instead, we divide up amongst ourselves teams and play without keeping score. All ages and ability levels are welcome and encouraged to play. Before we go home, we share what we are going through and lift each other up in prayer. Keep in mind that we only play when the school is in session, i.e., we don’t play over summer vacation and holidays.
